After rumours of the development of a new Boo themed game have emerged, teams at the megacorporation behind the popular news outlet Boo News have had the development of their game halted following accusations of Intellectual Property Infringement by a company with a large presence in the scene. Defense from the Boo News team has centered around the argument that 'there is nothing intellectual about what material we are working with'.
